1How much will I get paid?
You’ll get paid between $11.10-15.00 per hour, and between $16.65-$22.50 per overtime hour — depending on your New York county.
If you live in New York City (5 boroughs), you’ll get $15.00 per hour, plus free health benefits.
2How many hours will I be able to work?
You can work a maximum of 60 hours per week. The exact number will depend on Insurance approval.This is based on a nurse’s assessment of the patient.
Patient preference.The patient can choose to hire you for all the approved hours, or just a portion.
3Is there a minimum number of hours I have to work?
No. Some benefits are affected by the number of hours worked, but you’ll get paid as a caregiver for whatever hours you worked.
4My grandmother has Medicare. Does she qualify?
Only if she has Medicaid too (Medicare is NOT enough)
